Welcome to OILCOM (T) LIMITED

OILCOM Tanzania Limited imports, distributes, and markets premium-quality petroleum products across East and Central Africa. OILCOM was incorporated on the 26th of July, 1990, as a company limited by shares under the Companies Ordinance. |
In the past years OILCOM has expanded rapidly to become one of the giants in the sub regional petroleum business. The headquarters of OILCOM is in Dar es Salaam, the main port and commercial capital of Tanzania, and from there the wings of investment spread out to the neighboring countries of Malawi, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The main goal of OILCOM is focused on commitment, efficiency and customer satisfaction
The main storage facility of OILCOM at Dar es Salaam harbour has a capacity of 76,000 cubic meters of oil. This ultra-modern depot at Kurasini Terminal enables OILCOM to handle thousands of metric tones of petroleum products annually and move it quickly and efficiently anywhere in the region through rail and road. The depot is close to the oil jetty, and this strategic position enables efficient back loading of products to marine tankers and onshore bunkering to other vessels at the port.
Two additional depots on the mainland strengthen OILCOM’s ability to meet fuel needs of its customers in the mining projects of western and central Tanzania, and in the landlocked countries of Rwanda, Burundi, and Eastern Congo. One of the depots is in Kigoma, on the shore of Lake Tanganyika, has a capacity of 6,000 cubic meters. This depot is linked to Dar es Salaam through the Central Railway Line. The second depot with a capacity of 6,500 cubic meters is located at Isaka in Shinyanga Region giving OILCOM a central position in respect of the mining fields of Western Tanzania.
